Days 1–3: Record your starting point

Confirm ownership of your Google Business Profile. Record calls, website clicks and inquiries in a simple log. Search a few genuine service phrases from the areas you serve, noting the date and location. Results vary by searcher location: a single search is not a reliable ranking score.

Days 4–7: Correct the essentials

Use your real business name without extra keywords. Choose the most accurate primary category and only relevant secondary categories. Check your phone, website and actual services. If you travel to customers and do not receive them at your address, hide that address in your profile and list your genuine service area. Do not create duplicate profiles for each city.

Days 8–14: Show the work you really do

Write clear service descriptions. Add recent, genuine photos of your team, tools, vehicles and completed jobs with permission. Match your business name and phone across your website and reputable listings. Avoid fabricated photos, claims or testimonials.

Days 15–21: Improve the path to an inquiry

Give each important service a useful website page covering the work, customer questions and real service area. Test your phone link and quote form on a phone. Ask every customer neutrally for an honest review after completed work; never offer incentives or filter customers by satisfaction. Reply courteously without disclosing private details.

Days 22–30: Compare and prioritize

Compare calls, website clicks and qualified inquiries against your baseline. Check profile changes and fix inaccurate details. Record completed actions and pick the next two improvements based on customer needs. Continue beyond day 30: this is an implementation schedule, not a deadline for Google to improve your position.

Your weekly tracking log

For each week record: date range; calls; website clicks; qualified inquiries; new genuine reviews; improvements made; and next action. Google local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. You cannot control the searcher's distance or buy a better organic Maps position.
